Side Dishes with Nina and Stacey

With an unforgettable sunset leading the way, Stacey Sacks, my “eyes and ears,” joined me on a trek through Back Bay. We were headed to Faccia a Faccia on Newbury Street and decided to enjoy the walk. It was, after all, a perfect evening with summer weather closing out the month of October. Yes, the days of empty streets and sidewalks were gone as delightfully crowded spaces filled our path. It obviously took a pandemic and lockdown for these Bostonians to find pleasure in packed surroundings!

To top the intoxicating bliss of our heightened appetites and social aspirations, we made our way inside Faccia a Faccia. Small plates filled our table as we sipped orange wine — which is not made from oranges! — and sampled the fare that has made this spot so popular for Back Bay dining.

I encourage you to step inside the blue door and see what you will find to entice and delight your palate. ‘Tis the season and Faccia a Faccia is making it cozy! Check it out at 278 Newbury St., Boston. And read about it in Edible Boston magazine.
